I offer relationship therapy for individuals and couples counseling.  Within the frame of a safe, contemplative environment, a therapeutic relationship can help in exploring deep life concerns and assist you in developing a greater sense of personal satisfaction in many areas of your life.  Therapy can support you in letting go of outdated habits and allow for more truthful, authentic expression.  It is my hope that our work together will contribute to your capacity to create deeply satisfying relationships in which mutual respect, honesty, and joyful expression are valued.

As a therapist, I provide a safe and supportive setting in which clients can explore a wide range of life issues- emotional, interpersonal, psychological, and spiritual.  My counseling orientation is Humanistic-Existential with a focus in Gestalt Therapy.  My personal experience and years of clinical work as a therapist offer my clients a diverse range of counseling expertise.

Courtney Collier is a licensed marriage and family therapist.  She holds a masters degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies.  Special areas of focus include communication issues, emotionally disconnected partners, and helping people find a balance between dealing with hard-to-talk-about issues and bringing the joy back into their relationships.

She creates a comfortable therapy environment for couples and individuals, and, as a therapist, has a direct approach to engaging clients, making her a valuable advocate for improving relationships.  She provides practical relationship tools for both couples and individuals, helping them change their behaviors for the better.  Courtney collaborates with both individuals of the couple, supporting them as they get to know each other in new and creative ways as they bring aliveness back into their relationships.

Courtney is known for her no-nonsense approach and honest feedback.  Doing individual therapy work can offer new incite into old patterns of behavior that are no longer working. Courtney is known for her insightfulness, helping her clients see the deeper motivations and bigger picture that drive our decisions. With this new information clients can focus on making positive changes in their relationships, careers, family and friendships.
